Demeter- Goddess of Harvest
Demeter, sister of Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Hera and Hestia. Demeter is the Goddess of Harvest. Greeks believed she was the Goddesswho made the crops grow. The Greeks would scarifice their first loaf of bread to Demeter. Demeter was loved by the Greeks because of giving the Greeks the gift of harvest. Demeter was the only Greek Goddess that was involved in a day to day basis in the Greeks life. She was very important for the Greeks as they believed she helped provide their food. She is the daughter of Rhea and Cronus.
